A. Objective

The report has several objectives that can be classified on the basis of importance:

Primary Objective:
The report is prepared as a partial fulfillment of Human Resource Management Course of MBA, School of Business, Northern University, Bangladesh. The entire report is conducted under the guidance and supervision of the course teacher Mr. Mostafa Kamal.

Secondary Objective:
a) Secondary objective of this report is to relate theories and concepts of Human Resource Management (HRM) with reality. The report represents whether these theories are practiced in real life organizations.
b) Development of report presentation skill is another secondary objective of this report.

B. Scope

The study covers theories related to HRM and how these theories are practiced in two organizations in Dhaka city. In theoretical part HRM Activities and Contemporary HR problems are covered in brief.. The findings are entirely based upon their responses. No attempt is made to draw any conclusion from the findings. The report presents what portions of the theories of HRM are practiced in these companies and to which extent. No comparison or evaluation is made between the companies.

C. Methodology

Some basic research techniques have been applied to prepare the report. These techniques include: -
