In 1960 a blockbuster film was created by the name of Oceans 11. Not to mention its all-star cast, the Rat Pack. The 1960 version of Oceans 11 casted Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawsford, and Angie Dickinson. This was the debut of the Rat Pack on the big screen. Forty-One years later would mark the year of its remake. Same movie name, same blockbuster hit, same all-star cast, but new all-star cast faces. This time Oceans 11(Soderbergh) would manage to cast George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, and Julia Roberts. Both Movies at their respective time caught the eye of the public and media.
The basic plot scenes in Oceans 11(1960) is lead man Frank Sinatra and his off-screen pals Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawsford, Joey Bishop, and more of their army buddies devise a scheme to knock out the power to the Las Vegas strip, electronically rig five big casino vaults and raid them all at the same instant. The movie is loaded with suspense, comedy, and a twist to the ending.
