The subcontracts include the offering of hardware, services of system integration and support. The hardware subcontract is handled by Nanjing Ericsson Panda Communication Co., Ltd and Beijing Ericsson Communication Systems Co., Ltd. The system integration and support subcontract is assigned to the responsible area headquarters and then passed on to local Joint Venture companies such as Guangdong Ericsson Technology Co. Ltd or Chongqing Ericsson Technology Co. Ltd for execution. Sometimes, for those smaller amount contracts, contracts are signed between area headquarters and customers directly. Then, the area headquarters would be responsible for both the hardware and service.
