Everything was working as planned and going very smooth. The next step that I wanted to do in this project was to build trust between the students and I on a deeper level. Covey states that to do this you must establish an emotional bank account. An emotional bank account is a metaphor used by Covey to demonstrate the amount of trust in a relationship. Covey suggests that there are three major parts to strengthen the bank account. The first and most important part is to understand the individual. The reason for this being the most important part is because you cannot really cater to the persons needs, and truly know who they are unless you understand them as a person (Covey 189 – 192).
