Drive Through: For Better or Worse
In today’s busy lifestyle people appreciate fast food places than ever before. There are
more fast food chains of many different franchises than history. Fast food places such as
McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and Sonic have always had a taste of delicious
food people enjoy. But what makes people go eat at McDonalds or Taco Bell? What
makes fast food so special?
In recent society, people are busier than ever and have no time to eat as a family. The
mother gets off late from work, so she gets some food to go, father is still in a meeting so he
picks up fast food on the way home, sister is out with her buddies from school and they decide to
get some grub and chill, brother is still at football practice so he wont be able to eat until later
that night. This effects the family as a whole because you don’t get to spend quality time at a
dinner table every evening. But then again it’s the most convenient thing to do. Food isn’t just
anything but a source that feeds the hungry. Fast food chains have made it through along way
and are still growing day by day. Fast foods even have drive through which makes it easier to
get food on the go. It affects the way of life of people in today’s world by stopping by to get
food before heading anywhere else. Families and friends deal with fast foods more than 85%
daily. By going out for breakfast before work or school, then going back out for lunch with
clients or students, and then picking up a snack or a drink for supper and then back to get some
dinner. A busy person’s life maybe like that on a daily basis and fast foods are the most
convenient and approachable. Most fast foods are inexpensive which makes the teens even
want to eat out more. For an example, McDonalds will have a buy one get one free meal deal
every now and then, or .99 cent’s deals at Wendy...
