Che urged the people of the world to have the courage to stand up against tyranny and oppression, to love each other as brothers and sisters of equality, and above all, to be free. This is a great message that must not be exploited for material gain.
Guevara identified the problems of the world and actually sought out to change them and he became a martyr of this philosophy when he was killed. The world was shocked when learning of his death, for

Guevara’s true message cannot be forgotten because of some marketing scheme. He should be appreciated and honored for his ideals and not lost because of what is popular.
It is apparent that Guevara has come to be a very recognizable person, for he has become a pop-icon and its “cool” to “be down” with Che. Sadly enough, the Marxist revolutionary has become part of the capitalist power that he had died fighting. Many know of him but few understand the man and legend that is Che Guevara and in order for his exploitation to be stopped, the public must be informed.
