Loss of habitat, climate change and UV radiation are just a few reasons for earths
dramatic drop in amphibian’s population in the recent years. Amphibians have lived on our earth
longer then humans and adapt to a wide variety of habitats over the years. A recent study had
proved that human neglect and ignorance has greatly impacted the amphibian population. In the
remaining amphibian populations deformities such as extra eyes, or limbs have been reported in
as many as 44 states. Some deformities are natural but in some areas up to 60% of amphibians
have been reported ta have these defects. Our destruction of our habitat is thought to be the
cause. Amphibians have lived on our planet far longer then humans and have been able to adapt
to all types of climate changes over their existence. However not even amphibians have been able
to adapt to our recent neglect of the mother earth. If we continue our neglect one can only wonder
what form of life will begin to decrease next? Maybe the human being?...
