e new age) seemed at first to be someplace very friendly and, well, for the most part, normal. However, even before the service started, I found myself perplexed at the constant, and sometimes eardrum piercing voices spewing random noises, all in different tones and never correlating. Every person seemed to be doing something different, saying something different, or dancing to different music. When I finally got up the nerve to ask the rather harmless middle aged woman sitting next to me what exactly was occurring, she looked at me like I either was crazy, or I was the devil. Either way, her look told me that I was in the wrong place. “Their preparing the building for the service.” And with that, she simply turned around and went back to hollering many random sounds and gesturing seemingly painfully with her mouth as if she was speaking with somebody, who, I figured, was most likely God.
