Absolutism and Relativism

Absolutism and relativism are two great moral approaches to reality. While they are both official and supported by facts, they are very different in their views. Values are what a person cares about and thinks is worthwhile. Usually these values are what provides the passion in a person's life, and gives them hope and a reason for living. A person might go to any lengths to protect what they feel is right and to preserve these values. There are two types of values; Absolute, which deals with usual ethics and according to absolutists there is, but one eternally true and valid moral code. And then there is relativism, which includes individual taste. Relativism stresses the idea that nothing is certain. There is not one law for one man or race of men, another for another. There is not one moral standard. There is but one law, one standard, one morality, for all men. And this standard, what is right is right and wrong is wrong. There is a difference between what is right and what is thought to be right. Actions are naturally good or bad, regardless of the consequences. They also feel that if two people are in disagreement about what is right, and then obviously one of them must be mistaken, since standards are either right or wrong.
The opposite of absolutism is relativism. Relativism is in its real meaning, a purely negative belief. There is not only one moral law, one code, or one standard. There are many moral laws, codes, and standards. For something that is wrong for one person may be right for another. Most people have certain morals that stick with them and their surroundings, which they may think is right, and what is wrong.
Relativists see happiness, which I feel is important. I also think that it is important to seek the best for the most number of people. Absolutism, on the other hand, has absolute certainty. I disagree with the absolutist opinion that people cannot have different views on mora...
