Wal-Mart Stores is the division accounting for 55% of total company revenues (US$93.6 billion in 1995, and US$100 billion in 1996). Wal-Mart Supercenters generates 10% of total company revenues and is the fastest growing division. In the U.S., there are three different ñSupercentersî : Wal-Mart Supercenters, Hypermart USAs and Bud's Warehouse Outlets. ñSupercentersî are stores with more than 10,000 m2 of area and a minimum of 40,000 items.
