Same Sex Marriage
From the past to the present, gender has a major impact in everyone’s life in everything they do. At the same time, gender limits a person’s rights in every culture. In fact, it seems that men and women do not have the same opportunities in many societies. Gender separates people into groups that their appearances belong to without concerning to the moral judgment according to the human rights, as men in general have more rights in the society compared to women. However, the issue of inequality in the societies which cause by gender seems to be worse off for the gay men and women, since they have fewer rights in the societies than women. Thus, they struggle in their lives in the society that they are in. Gay men and women are also human so they should be treated with equal rights.
In several countries today, the law of prohibited homosexual couples to legally marry still exists. Many public opinions regarding the issue of same sex marriage often are criticized based on issues of morality according to the religious beliefs which makes this issue becomes one of the culture wars that cause by gender difference since they do not fall into the heterosexual category. What ever happened to the motto of the “Statue of Liberty”? Isn’t the biggest war everyone is fighting for is “freedom”? Why were there world wars?
Each individual on this planet is born without the disturbance of anyone else other than his or her family. Therefore, no one has the right to judge anyone else. Every single individual is born and raised exactly different. Therefore, for one to make a decision that will only affect him or her self is totally acceptable.
