should be a method of discipline that is more loosely used. One might argue that it is not humane, which may be true to some extent, but obviously these people do not want to be part of society anyways or they would not have broken the rules in the first place, so why should the honest, hard-working
American have to pay for that? Capital punishment will lower crime rates in this country and needs to be endorsed by every state.
The prison system in this country should really be given a serious, in-depth, look at. Reason being is that what prisoners do while incarcerated is to learn how to commit crimes. It is in movies, television, and on the news. It has been proven that while some convicts are incarcerated that they become much more knowledgeable on either the crime that they committed or another crime. Once that they do get out of prison they can just go and try and pull that “job” off. Which is exactly why this country has so many repeat offenders. Now the penalty should not be death for every little crime that comes about, however it should be stiff enough so that criminals will think twice or even three times before going out and committing a crime. The prison system isn’t entirely terrible. Prisons should be used for the more white–collar crimes like embezzlement, computer hacking, and tax evasion. These offenders did not physically harm anyone. Now depending on the maliciousness of the crime would determine where they go and for how long, but their punishment should not be the equivalent of someone that held up a convenience store, maimed the attendant and took off with the cash register.
