Reasons Why We Need A Government

There are many reasons why, we the people, need a government opposed to each person living in the United States living and running his or her own government. According to the social contract theory, it says that even though all people have the right to do as they please, everyone must give up some rights in consent to be governed. This would set many rules and regulations for all people living in the United States.

The government did many things for all people living in the United States. Government did not only help, but it was necessary for everybody’s well being and safety in everyday life. Without a government people would be running around with no rules, which means: people would be forging for food, killing, and stealing. Basically the government would supply civilization prevent all of us from living like animals. Now if everyone just sat down and thought about it, giving up just a few of your God-given rights, is really just a small price to pay for all the good we get out of the government.

Another reason why government is so important and so greatly need is because it supplies’s and guarantees us life, liberty, and property. The government also provides justice. The government issues laws to ensure justice, and if they went back on any of this to screw over the people, they would totally lose the consent of the people and maybe loose the government.

If there were no government, the country would just be full of problems. There would be no laws or regulations, which means that people living have no guarantee that they own anything. With out any laws if someone wants your home and he is bigger and stronger then you, well you then loose your home. Also there would be no organization in the country and it would be ruled by separate individual mobs living an all out life filled with war. Pretty much with no government you are not promised any rights or laws and it is every man for him-self.
