America’s Holocaust
Within his “I have a dream” speech Marin Luther King Junior said, “Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.” Martin Luther King Junior was a Baptist minister who very firmly believed in his faith. King said in his letter for Birmingham jail that, “Whatever affects on directly affects all indirectly.” How true this is, after all, in the words of King’s niece, Dr. Alveda King, “If Martin Luther Kings dream is to live, our babies must live, what about the rights of the baby who is artificially breached. We can’t sit idly by and allow legal murders.”
Abortion is simply a form of legal murder. Those who are pro-choice believe that the fetus is not a person, looking back into time there was other times this situation has occurred and now with modern eyes, we see how wrong and cruel those choices were. The choices I speak of are in old America where murder of a Negro was legal because according to local law a Negro was not a person. In Nazi Germany killing a person of Jewish decent was also perfectly legal because those of Jewish faith were considered parasites and not human. In all of these situation the persons being killed were considered an “it” and not a person, so when does one become a person? When does life begin? Both science and the bible clearly believe that at the very moment of conception life does start, and a human is formed. Doesn’t the bible say in Jeremiah 1:5,”Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart…” Isn’t life an unquestionable, unalienable right of all humanity?
The bible clearly states in Psalms 82: 3-4 that one should, “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” This further leads me to strongly believe that King would have been pro-life and taken kindly to the act of ...
