The Destiny of Lula and Sailor

The events in Sailor and Lula’s lives up to this point have been slightly hectic to say the least. From leaving home to Sailor’s imprisonment, this is a couple that has faced almost nonstop conflict. They survived the wrath of Lula’s mom and a vicious hit man sent to take Sailor out. Judging by their past, they deserve a good future together, a time of happiness to make up for all the anguish they have been through in the past. However, looking at their past also reveals that with these two, nothing will ever be quite smooth or perfect. What if both were a possibility? What if in one alternate timeline, Sailor and Lula were blissfully happy, blessed amazingly? In another timeline they are struggling just to make it, falling apart at the seams, just barely holding on to that last bit of rope before falling apart.

The Good Life
Upon returning home, Sailor takes the initiative to go to school to learn about business management. Lula gets a job working at the cosmetic department at Macy’s. Sailor finds school difficult, as he just barely makes it. He becomes frustrated with the whole process but remains determined. In the meantime, Pace is slowly growing up. He is a strong, healthy child that is respectful of his mother and is getting more and more comfortable with his father. Lula puts in long hours at Macy’s, but it is well worth it as she achieves two promotions in the first six months. Lula’s mom dies within a year of Sailor’s release. Full of despair and anger, the woman kept drinking constantly and finally ended her sad existence due to alcohol poisoning from an extreme overdose of brandy.
Sailor gets a part-time job working at a body shop. He uses his mechanical skills to help him succeed at this new venture. He learns many valuable skills and is considered by his boss to be an extremely efficient employee. With incom...
