TAXI DRIVER
The movie is slow to start but keeps storyline interesting enough that you continue watching. It quickly turns into
a guy film when guns are introduced to the film, including a quick draw holster. Personally I thought it was a good movie.
What guy can complain about a taxi driver that goes ballistic and kills the low-lifes of New York City.
The narration in the movie kept the viewers up to date and it was the thoughts of Travis which allowed you to
understand exactly what he was thinking and possibly what makes people go insane.

Taxi Driver is a story about New York and a man named Travis Bickle who has been grasped by the cesspool
of human misery that flocks to the streets during the night. Travis is an ex marine and takes work as a taxi driver, he
works late nights and long hours in hopes to find a meaning to his life, however each day he becomes more disillusioned
by the thugs and murderers parading the streets. The free time he has is spent watching porn in the theatre. "She
appeared like an angel, out of the filthness, she is alone, they can't have her." Betsy, the woman giving Travis a glimpse of
hope that some good may dwell within the streets or crime. He takes her to a hardcore porn and doesnt understand why
she walks off disgusted and apalled. Once again back on the rotting streets of New York, Travis takes it upon himself
and decides something must be done "and suddenly there is change." He purchases a .44 magnum and other firearms to
protect himself and others. Travis decided that he is the rain and that he will wash away the scum "Listen, you fuckers,
you screwheads, here is a man who would not take it any more! A man who stood up against the scum, the cunts, the
dogs, the filth, the shit here is someone who stood up!" He visits a girl in a low class brothel that he had met once before,
she tried to get into his taxi but was taken away by her "pimp." He...
