The 50’s And 60’s Teens Compared To Today’s

The teens of today are much like the teens of the 50’s/60’s.The teens from the 50’s and 60’s act like the teens of today. The 50’s/60’s teens just talked different, wore different cloths and listened to different music. They party and get drunk like some of the teens today. Some teens go thru problems of trying to figure out their future, and what they are going to do after graduation. It was the same then as it is now.

Back in the 50’s the teens had a different “slang” then today’s teens. They said things like “boss”, meaning cool or awesome. Teens of today say things like “fat”, which means cool. They had a different language back then compared to today’s. It changes over time.

The cloths that the teens wore in the 50’s and 60’s were old fashioned. They wore almost nothing but solid colors. They wore ugly brown colors. The times have changed. Teens today advertise name brand clothing. Some only wear a certain name brand. We are more diverse and sporadic.

Over time everything changes. The music that teens listen to today is much different then the teen of the past. Most teens listen to rap or R&B. Back then they listened to oldies. The music is hardly played or listened to today. That's how old it is. No matter what no teen today listens to the music of the 50’s and 60’s.

Today’s teens play school sports just like the teens of the past. We drive around just to look for something to do just like teens of the past. Back then some guys drove around to pick up on chicks. Guys are still doing it to this day. Some of us party and get drunk. Lots of teens did the same back then.

Lots of teen’s today dream of going to college. It was the same as in the past. They had dreams of becoming big and making something out of themselves. Some teens have trouble figuring out what they are going to do after graduation. It went for the tee...
