“Mum...this is delicious” or “Oh my God, this is amazing” are some of the phrases you will hear when eating at a good restaurant. Today there aren’t that many “good” restaurants that will cater to your needs and desires. When couples, families or even yourself go out to eat, service and great food are only expected. But sometimes hell can break lose. You can have a bad waiter or waitress, you can find a piece of hair in your food, or simply- the food is awful. There are many factors that affect a restaurants performance and quality. Some of the factors include the location, the atmosphere, the type and quality of the food, and the service.
The location of a restaurant is very important. The restaurant has to be easily accessible, easy to find, and a big parking lot is a must. It is very annoying to the customer when the restaurant is in hard location to find. Also, location is very important because of zoning. Without the proper measurements and configurations a restaurant can be in danger. If additions on to the restaurant are necessary than the land around the actual restaurant must coincide with the rules and regulations of the town. Location is also important because it sets the atmosphere inside the restaurant.
The atmosphere of a restaurant sets the mood for the meal ahead. There are all types of atmospheres and styles that a restaurant can have. A restaurant can be funky, classy, Mexican, Texan, and Italian. Even though there are many more types those that were listed are some of the most popular. The atmosphere is also important because restaurants cater. When throwing a baby shower, birthday party, or a rehearsal dinner for a wedding the style and atmosphere has to be just right. After all, someone can’t have their five-year-old child’s birthday party at a five star restaurant. Once someone gets a good feel for the atmosphere a good dinner should go along with it.
