When looking at the titles of each of the two women’s careers one would likely perceive Evan’s to be very laid back. But from the context of the story, Zoë’s job seems to be much more relaxed. While describing Zoë’s job at one point a student had said, ”Professor Hendricks is often late for class and usually arrives with a cup of hot chocolate, which she offers the class sips of” (352).Many other accounts of Professor Hendricks class include, singing the King and I, and discussing movies.
