It is easy to assume without credibility, the brand will not survive and prosper in the market for very long. The consumer will lose faith and cease to purchase the product or service. Therefore businesses must spend more on advertisements and market research to bring the consumer to them.
In 2003 the USA spent 147,168 million dollars in advertisements compared to the five–country Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the U.K.) spending of 61,612 thousand dollars.
