s an appropriate time to upgrade our organization’s software. It has so many new features, which help in many ways in our lives. The biggest advantage is that it saves much more time because of its speed and new functions, and now the efficient use of time is the most important key for success. Therefore, I think office XP is not just a necessity, but is essential for a growing business.








INTRODUCTION
This memo is about upgrading our organization’s (Kaiser Permanente) application software to a newer version, such as Windows XP. My main purpose is to bring this issue to the higher management and explain how it can help to increase our work flow, maintain our speed during a busy period and provide our organization’s employees with the best and the latest technology to work with. One of the biggest purposes for upgrading the software is to increase work speed and provide the best customer service with the help of our new technology.
This report is about upgrading our organization’s application software to a newer version (such as windows XP). Important questions to take into consideration are: Is it in favor of our organization or not? What it will cost? What are the benefits for having it and what are the positive points for having it? How will it affect our progress and how it will effect or clients and patients and members?
Plan:
To explain my project in detail, I performed the following tasks:
1. I studied the books on windows XP and read all the benefits and drawbacks of having this software in our organization. The only big drawback I have found out so far is that Windows XP is full of the latest graphics and functions, which take more memory on a computer then installing a Windows 2000 on Windows 98.
