I believe that sports in general are not undermining players psychologically, it a diff perspective has to be considered. For example our new football team the Houston Texans started off with a good record 1-0. Being that his is there second season in playing football, they went against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have been known to be an excellent team in football. Having the Texans beat the Dolphins has proven and even more probable that in certain circumstances a team can pull together and achieve a goal. With this being an achievement, I believe the players have more courage, more self worth, and this accomplishment has sent from ford to look forward on surpassing they’re 1-0 victory. A game that has been won can be viewed as future goals, by competing again the next season, learning to be more skillful, quicker, and cooperative. In competitions game’s such as basketball, every city, town and state has pride for their team. Basketball requires many levels of skills, including speed, hand and eye coordination, strength. By having a team achieve those skills, you develop a team. Those teams compete against other competitors to show and prove what team is the best at the game of Basketball. From this we have competition, rivalries, and grudges. But we also know this is a game and sports like these incorporate sportsmanship but most importantly respect.
