How to Know God?
My reaction when I first looked at this book by Deepak Chopra, which is tilted “How to know God: The Soul’s Journey into the Mystery of Mysteries” was that it’s a very big book that is filled with lots of pages. I think that this is a very nice book that caught my attention because of its nice gold border. Even I think that this book is very popular because when I bought it from borders it was displayed on a shelf filled with only this book. Also I think that this book might be bored because it contains over three hundred pages, but I think that this book might be interesting because I think this book will talk about God.
Chapter one of this book titled “A Real and Useful God” talks about how millions and millions of people describe God as a white bearded father. It says that according to a poll about ninety-six percent of the people believe in God. This chapter mainly talks about the seven responses that take place in the brain. The seven responses that take place in the brain are fight-or-flight response, reactive response, restful awareness response, intuitive response, creative response, visionary response, and sacred response. Then it talks about how God is another name for infinite intelligence. It even talks about the seven levels of fulfillment, which include the seven responses on the human brain. Then it uses the seven responses of the human brain with the seven levels of miracles, which is beyond the power of the five senses. And at the end of the chapter it talks about how we are capable of our choices. Also says that out of the seen levels, the seventh
level is the goal, which it’s to revel the infinite creation of God.
