Charles was never born with these traits, beliefs, and characteristics; they were acquired through the experiences and the believed reality during his dreams and hallucinations. One of the best examples of how experiences can effect a personality are Sinbad’s constant battles with loneliness; and one of the first experiences of his life as Sinbad the sailor was that of terror.
