are the other dogs. The dogs began to run. Billy saw that the old dog was badly hurt. He picked up the dog and took him home. Once being there Billy cleaned up the dog and gave him something to eat. That day the dog slept at Billy’s house. The next morning Billy took the dog and to him if wish to stay you can but someone other owns you so go on and find them. Billy sat in a chair and watches the dog disappear. Billy began to look around he spotted two mugs that were placed on top of a cabinet. This brought memory of him being ten year old.
At the age of ten Billy wanted not one but two hound dogs of his own. His family was to poor to own two dogs. Yet that didn’t stop Billy to ask everyday for two dogs and he would always get the same answer, no. One day Billy was walking down the banks of the river and he sat down next to a shady tree. As he looked around he saw a news paper and he pick it up. The newspaper said that hound dog were for sale 25 dollars each. Billy was excited and he decided that he would earn the money and get those dogs. It took him two years to earn enough money to buy the dogs. He took the money to his grandfather and told him all about it. His grandfather read the newspaper and he told him that he would send a letter to if they still have any dogs left. It took a couple of weeks before they got a responds. The letter said that they still had hounds and that they were five dollars each. Billy was so excited about the news he had received that he made the decision to go to the city and get his dog. That’s what he did, that night he took his back pack and some food to eat and he went to get his new dogs. When he got to the city everything was different from the country. He got to the store where the dog would be. He paid for them. On the way home he bought his mom cloth so she could make her self dresses, he bought his dad some overalls, and his sister a whole bunch of candy.
